Hi all, just checked in online for our trip staying at CB in March. I went to update the room requests, and it gave me two drop down boxes with options. I was going to request Jamaica or Aruba so that we would hopefully be by the footbridge to old port royal and because I hear the buses pick up/drop off there first, but the only 'village' option it would give me was Martinique.

I thought Martinique was preferred rooms, which we definitely haven't booked, but as it was the only village option I requested that and 'near transportation'. What do you think the likelihood is we'll actually be put in Martinique? I would LOOOVE to be in Martinique because it's nice and close to old port royal, but I found it weird that it didn't give us any other options?!

Unless it's changed, only half of Martinique is Preferred. The three buildings farther from OPR are regular buildings.

You might want to call in to make sure your room location preference is noted on your reservation.

Hmmmm... either something has changed or there was a glitch of some sort. In April when I stayed there I was able to request Jamaica lake view (which was perfect) with the drop boxes and it was granted. If Martinique is your only option I would request that and give them a call about 5 days before arrival to double check or put in a different request

Ah ok that makes sense. I can see on the website that it says you can update your check in info as well so i'll have another look in a couple of days in case it was a glitch.

I don't think this is a new glitch -- I remember someone asking about this back before my visit to CBR in November, and I remember checking the drop-boxes at that time and they were right - Martinique was the only village listed. I'd suggest calling Customer Service to see if there's a way to have your village request noted on your reservation manually.

Same in December with only Martinique. I called and they took my request over the phone.

It seems they went thru a while ago and shortened the request lists for all resorts.
