How do the busses run at Caribbean Beach? We have only stayed at All Star Music, and Pop where there is only one bus stop. What building should i request, we have a water view room? Also has Disney started the online resort check in yet? how does this work?

I just got back from a week-long stay at the CBR, and much like the Wilderness Lodge......it has some serious issues with the busses. It seemed to me that every day, no matter which park I was going to (and always around the same time in the morning), we would wait longer than 20 minutes for our bus, and always sat there while multiple buses for other destinations would come and go before the one we wanted would arrive. We were in the Aruba area (bldg 53) which was all the way on the other side of the resort, across from the main building and eating areas.....and quite a hike to walk. After mainly staying in deluxe resorts and then trying this moderate one for the first time, I have no desire to try another.

I'm not sure if the online check-in has started yet.

Typically a single bus for each destination will make a loop around the resort picking up at each stop. During peak times you might see multiple buses on the same route. Building 25 and 31 are ideal if you intend to use the main pool and food court frequently. If all you care about is proximity to a bus stop 12, 13, 22, 24, 25, 32, or 55 will suit your needs. Online check in has been pushed back yet again to March. If I was a betting man I would not expect it to be out and functioning any time in the immediate future.

We stayed at CBR January 20th to the 27th and stayed in Jamaica. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus, except for the time we walked out of our room and saw the bus to that park drive by. I timed it -the next bus came 20 minutes later.

Jamaica is near the bus entrance/exit. We noticed that there were times (cannot remember if it was just morning or morning and afternoon) that a bus to EPCOT came in from the road and made 3ish stops and then exited out the front entrance. Not sure how normal that was, but we were excited.

The bus leaving for EPCOT with only a couple of stops was normal on my stay as well. My only suggestion would be to stay out of Trinidad north and south for those are usually the last to be picked up by the busses and if the bus is overful those two areas are often passed.

Really? Trinidad north? Its a preferred location but not so good bus transportation? Do the busses come in at the main entrance or the entrance from victory way? Do they go clockwise or counter-clockwise?

Having just returned from Caribbean Beach, most busses enter from Victory Way and cycle through: Jamaica, Aruba, Barbados, Martinique, Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, Trinidad South.

Very rarely the bus used the main entrance (but did sometimes): Martinique, Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Jamaica, Aruba, Barbados

The parks were empty last week yet busses were very frequent at the Resort. It's really just luck. The transportation system works well. Usually its great, sometimes its poor. And it doesn't matter which Resort you are at.

If you have paid for a Water View, make sure you request a Barefoot Bay Lake View. Those views are preferred over pool views. Excellent pool views are in ARUBA buildings 51 and 52.
