I just learned this from a friend over on "another board" and it was so good, I decided to share.

If you are booking a rental car, book from the .ca page instead of .com

For some odd reason, lower rates are available on these.

eg... 4 day intermediate (Pontiac G6) rental in Boston in May through budget.

Budget.com total is USD $250.65
Budget.ca total is USD $148.15

That's $102.50 more for booking through the .com page :eek:

And this works with National and Alamo as well... for many other dates and cities, including the one that makes this thread relevant- MCO :D

.ca is the top level domain for Canada.

In other words, domains ending in .ca are Canadian based websites.

I'd be careful trying to pull a reservation like this if you are not a resident of that country. The rental company may pull out some residency requirement for the rate, and you might end up rental-less. Just my $0.02.

Alamo.ca gives the same rate as Alamo.com btw.

they reflect the rate based on local currency :)
