Can't wait

Ok so I am supposed to be working but would much rather be on these forums and thinking about disney so guess what? Disney it is! Anywho, I am very excited. This past saturday the tickets came in the mail for MNSSHP which excited me to no end. Was a tad bit disappointed with the card design though. I was kind of expecting the cards to be halloween themed but it is not like it makes a difference. I am counting the days until I go (September 17th). I am really excited to make my dining reservations. My husband and I were even looking at the menu and were like oo im gonna get that and stuff. It is a bit hard for us though to plan things like dining. When we go, we do not plan a thing. How so we know what we are going to feel like doing on a certain day? Especially 90 days out? But what can you do. I am very excited to eat in Cinderella's castle as neither one of us have eaten there before. Also we are going to try to get ressies at Crown Royal for Illuminations one of the nights. Anyone know if you can request a table by the railing so we have a good view of the show? Ok I guess that will be it for now. Maybe I should get some work done.

I'm going to Disney I'm going to Disney I'm going to Disney I'm going to Disney...sorry....a bit excited

Sitting outside at the Rose and Crown Dining room during Illuminations is an AMAZING experience! It doesn't matter if your on the lower level at the water's edge or the second level just in front of the building. As long as you're outside, it's incredible!

It's true they won't guarantee outside seating But if you make a reservation and then show up 20-30 minutes early, and let them know you're willing to wait for an outside table, you'll almost certainly get one within an hour. Just be sure to give yourself enough time before Illuminations. It may seem a pain to wait up to an hour to be seated, but it's worth it, what a viewpoint!! After the show, we enjoyed desert and a cocktails as the park emptied. Great way to wrap up our day at Epcot!!

There's a special viewing area for Rose & Crown diners. It's standing room only, but if you don't get a seat outside it's a great place to watch. You have to ask your server to bring you to the viewing area or you can't get in. After Illuminations is over you can go back to your table to finish your meal.

We did the Rose n Crown in December and just went a little early to sign in and request a table. We waited a little bit longer but it was worth it.

Thank you for the responses. I am really hoping to get a reservation there. I think Illuminations is my husbands favorite show and I know he would really enjoy to see it from there. If only June 19th would come fast enough so I could make those reservations.
