Not true. I just changed my ressie's yesterday. I originally booked online two months ago. I called last week to drop the dining plan and then called yesterday to change the dates (due to registration at my school....principal said I had to be thereAEfx said:Using the wdw website for making ressies is just a PITA all the way around; it's best to call your ressie in.
If not for anything else, for the fact that if you have to cancel/change an online ressie, they CANNOT apply the $ to a new one. They make you pay again, and refund your money for the original ressie seperately. If you just call in the first place, they can move your $ around any which way without the hellish hassle.
I'm all for using the web and technology when it makes things better, but ressies via the WDW website aren't better, unless you are making a strictly vanilla ressie and for-sure won't be making any changes.
