WOW I saw this thread down here and thought I could get some info. Hmm has not been used in a long time lets see. Well I belive I have talked the wife into letting me get a new DLSR. Now I was looking at the Canon Rebel T2i. I want to stay with canon because I have other lenses to go with it. Is the T3i have enough upgrades/updates to spend the extra on it or is the T2i just fine? I am just a beginer/intermediate shooter. I am always trying to learn and I usally do. :) So any info on either of those would be handy. Thanks.

T3i

Congrats on the greenlight for a new camera. Like monorail lime said, the T3i is the same as the T2i with the articulating screen. I have the 60D and found a great use for the articulating screen at Disney. With a 7 year old daughter who is a roller coaster junkie, we are usually late getting to parades and such. So if I end up behind someone, i can pick the camera up above the the folks in front and use the articulating screen to frame my shot. Not earth shattering and not sure if that feature is worth the extra $$ to you, but it can be really nice. As far as the lens, it kinda depends on the glass you already have.

People always forget that the T3i has a wireless flash commander...not necessarily a feature you use right away when new but certainly comes in handy when expanding your skills.
