This will be the next big things that will change photography as this technology gets better. As long as they make these new bodies to support current lens mounts I am good. Not sure thats going to happen though.

Educate me a bit...Will mirror-less cameras bring us DSLR results from a compact camera?

Thats the idea. Its like a SLR without the mirror. The technology is still early so its not quite up to par yet.

$200 for that adaptor.

I'm not really sold on this camera. I think this first model is skewed very much to the point and shoot user. No viewfinder, point and shoot type controls. Perhaps the an additional model will cater to those looking for something a bit more.

I agree with this. I was also upset that they want to market this more as a movie making tool. I am not into making movies.

Also concerned how much that adapter will affect the speed of your lens.

Totally agree....I like the tech in it, but hate the lack of features.

That is the guts of it. In normal, good light conditions, something like this Canon is going to deliver VERY similar results to a low-end Canon DSLR (they share many of the same parts, including the sensor).
