Canon is emphasizing the EOS M more as a movie-making tool and secondarily as a still camera.

I'm not really sold on this camera. I think this first model is skewed very much to the point and shoot user. No viewfinder, point and shoot type controls. Perhaps the an additional model will cater to those looking for something a bit more.

That is the guts of it. In normal, good light conditions, something like this Canon is going to deliver VERY similar results to a low-end Canon DSLR (they share many of the same parts, including the sensor).Educate me a bit...Will mirror-less cameras bring us DSLR results from a compact camera?
