I just made my reservation for the Candy Cane Inn. How close is Candy Cane to Disneyland? Has anyone stayed there? What is the breakfast like there? Okay I'm thinking way in the future since I don't get there until November, but still I like, need, to know every little detial. Also waht places are good sit down restaruants are at Disney besides Blue Bayou?

Candy Cane Inn is our favorite off site hotel. The breakfast is good - fruit, cereal, toast, yogurt, muffins, juice, etc. They have a bus to take you to the parks, but it is faster to walk. The hotel is nice. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

For sit down besides Blue Bayou - Goofy's Kitchen is our favorite character meal. We like Red Rocket's in Tomorrowland and Park Plaza is pretty good too.

Candy Cane is South of Disneyland. Infact your room might be upaginst the Timone Parking lot. Never stayed there. Yes, you could walk than ride the bus, as the bus when it leaves has to go South and then make a U-turn back up Harbor. There is a 7-11 and Subway/Quiznos across the street and in the hotel Just south of you.

As for resturants...there is another thread about some of the "sit-down" resturants.

The Candy Cane Inn is not notated on here for some reason. If you locate the
"Four Points Hotel" on the map the Candy Cane Inn is tha large U shaped motel about a quarter inch above it. You can see that it intrudes into the Parking area next to California Adventure. Walking from the Candy Cane to the front gates of the parks takes about 7 minutes. They do have their own shuttle though.
