Hey guys - got a quick question about the candlelight processional...we are going to Epcot on Monday December 1 - this is our first time going to Disney around the holidays and I've heard this show is pretty sweet. Is this a must do for us? We love the holidays but we're wondering his long the show is and how long we'd have to wait leading up to it? I know most other things you make reservations for need to be far in advance...is this one of them? Or do we just show up that day and get in line? Any info about this stuff would be great - we've seen the description of the show we just would like to know from people who've went whether it's worth it and how long it typically takes to get in and the show length. Thanks! Also - there is no hot announced for our date - how much does the host change the quality of the show? Thanks again!!!

We are going to be in Epcot dec 1st too our first time at Disney over the holidays also! We booked the Candlelight Processional dinner package so you get a reserved seat if you haven't already looked into it maybe that's an option from what I have seen on YouTube the show goes for 40-50 minutes

The show lasts 45 minutes. It's definitely a must do. My family has been going to see it every year since it started- it's our family tradition. I would recommend the dinner package. You will be guaranteed a seat. If you are in the standby line you could be waiting for hours and there is no guarantee you will get in the show that you want.

If you decide to attend - do a dinner package - recommend the later performance since after it ends the Illuminations fireworks begin about 15 to 20 minutes later.

We did the package 2 years ago and Neil Patrick Harris was narrating. People started lining up hours before the show. If you want to see it inside the theater, I would recommend a package so you don't waste so much time in the line.

Package deal is worth it just to help get you in ahead of the masses lined up. The line at our show looked like it stretched half way around the lagoon. The entire show is fabulous. We chose our date to match the narrator we preferred to hear. The kids voices are amazing. We would choose to include this as a must book event in any of our December seasonal trips.

We went last year. It was amazing. Without the reservations for Candlelight Dinner, you may not get to see it. They over sell the dinners. I know people that waited hours and hours and didn't get in. Now with that said, last year was the first and probably the last for the next few years. Just because the show doesn't change at all.

Anybody have a idea when they will announce the rest of the narrators or if Neil Patrick Harris is going to be a narrator this year as may wife loves him and would make for a good early surprise x-mas gift.

CP was a must for us when we did our Disney Christmas in 2008. We did the dinner package to ensure we got seats in the theatre. Enjoy
