Candlelight Processional/Osborne Lights - Go on EMH/non-EMH nights?

Hi,

We are looking at the Candlelight Processional/Osborne Lights for our trip next year.

We are staying on-site, so were wondering, is it better to do these on Extra Magic Nights, or non-Extra Magic Nights?

Thanks for your help.

May want to switch your Christmas trip to this year...the word on other threads in this forum is that the Osborne lights will not be displayed in 2014, due to construction at DHS.

I know, but we are already booked for 2014...

Just going to have to plan as if they will be there, and if they aren't, then they aren't...

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
We love going when there is EMH at night at DHS b/c to look at the Lights is not crowded like durning regular park hours. Fairly empty to be honest on the EMH nights we have gone to view the Osborne lights. CP it all depends but it's pretty much always really full and you need to wait In line at least 15-30 prior to one of the shows. We love taking advantage of evening EMH as we are not early birds and when the parks are not open as late in the Fall/Winter it is nice to get 2-3 hours extra of park time. :)

Both are great and I really don't think EMH plays much of a factor in the crowds for Candlelight Processional. A lot of people do the package or just line up. I don't think it would factor much for DHS either except for maybe later at night.

That is good to know. We are going next month and then we want to return in early December to see the parks all decked out for the Holidays. Good to know so we make sure to really soak it in this year.

Extra Magic Nights means the opportunity for more park time. Always a good thing. The crowds always dwindle down and you can have an amazing time. More repeat rides, less line waiting, more fun with the CM's. You just have to be able to endure a longer night of fun.
