has anyone heard anything at all (rumors even) about the candlelight processional this year and what celebrities may be doing the readings? i'm hoping that if the list isn't out already, that it'll come out pretty soon! my family and i were going to attend last year to see Roy Disney, but when we heard he canceled, we did too. which ended up working for the best, since i ended up getting a touch of food poisoning that night...certainly wouldn't have been too fun with all those people around!
anyway, i was hoping maybe we could make up for missing it last year.

Hiya!

The list of celebrities for the processional are generally released mid-October. Last year they were released on the 18th.

Don't miss it! It's a very relaxing way to spend a night at Epcot!:)

If you're new to Candlelight Processional, and are wondering what its like visually. I have one pic of Gary Sinise reading during the 2001 Season in my album. It shows you how the stage is setup. I have a few others of the stage and how they decorate the American Gardens Pavilion, if anyone's interested, just PM me.

well, Jayn, i'm not sure if your post was directed at me, or to anyone in general....but on a personal note, i'm not new to the processional. i've seen it a couple of times from afar, but last year was going to be the first year we actually paid for a seat in the theater (all the other times we just stood between the theater and American Adventure, which sometimes you can get a pretty good view, if you're lucky!) but, like i said, we found out that Roy canceled, so we did too. he was pretty much the reason we wanted to get tickets anyway....i mean, after all, we could've just stood where we usually do.
but i'm sure others reading this thread could greatly benefit from your photos! thanks for the offer! :D

Bookings for Candlelight 2003 begin on Monday 8/25. The Coral Reef is also now apart of the pkgs. Celebs will not be out until October sometime.

It was to anyone that might be reading this thread and not sure what the Candlelight Processional is, or looks like. Since its a seasonal thing, like the Food/Wine Festival, i'm sure there are people who've been to WDW 10 times but know nothing about these events.

So you were going to be one of those ones that made my job tough trying to get my guests in and out of my line at my cart.

Matt,

How do you know the bookings for CP begin on Monday the 25th? Are you a CM? Where did you hear the date? I've been calling for several days and they can't seem to tell me anything when I call. I'm excited. Thanks for the info.:sohappy: :xmas:

I was just over on the Disboards and saw that someone had talked with a CM today that said the bookings would start on 8/27 (Wednesday). I hope it starts soon. I have so many things to get booked for our trip. It will be nice to get this out of the way. Mickey

YIPEE!!!!

:xmas: Candlelight Processional is booking!!! :xmas:

I made my PS's for the 18th.

12/18/03 we do the late CP at 8:15pm. We dine at Le Cellier at 4:50pm.

I am a bit bummed though, the 15% discount on merchandise is gone. So much for the added bonus.

YES! CP reservations made to day....Alfredo here we come!!! Was at WDW last year, but CP was a sell-out. Won't miss it this year. Book 'em folks and enjoy. I'm taking my 14 year old step-daughter back this year to enjoy MVMCP and CP...can't wait. Bummed about Osborne lights, but hope to see them in 2004.

Hey everyone, sorry to bump this topic up since the last post was last month, but I have some questions.

I am part of our school choir and today we recorded are entry tape for Candlelight. Last year the choir made it there but I wasn't in it. I am hoping Disney will pick us!

Anyways, how many shows do we usually have to perform a day?
