Cancelled?!?!

me and a friend are planning to go to WDW this weekend for the weeknd. he made the reservations late last week and he told me he got a conformation number. but, yesterday, he received an e-mail saying that we had NOT recieved a conformation number and that we lost our room at the Polynesian. of course now we dont know where we will stay and we leave friday. does anybody know why this happened?

Did he write down the number they gave him (or print out his reservation page froma web site)? Have you received any paperwork from WDW? I'd call and find out whats going on.

Did he pay for the room? Making ressies so close to your departure, the room needs to be paid for in order to hold it, so if payment was not made, the ressies would be cancelled.

i think he wrote down the confirmation number and i am pretty sure he did pay for the room; i couldnt think of why he wouldnt
