Has anyone had to cancel a fully paid for trip? I'm about 43 days away from my trip, and think I need to cancel. I was in a car accident in January where the other person totaled my car. It required purchasing a new vehicle, which was not at all in my plans as my car was paid off. Was Disney pretty easy to work with on cancellation?
I'm thinking of going this December, but would need to cancel this reservation not just modify/postpone.
I'm so bummed... :-(
Update: It was very easy. There's a link on the My Disney Experience page next to your reservation to cancel. When you click that, it takes you through the process and lets you know what your refund will be. I received a full refund. There was a slight glitch in the system when I made the cancellation, so I did have to call and confirm the cancellation.
