Can you walk through Disney Springs before the stores are open?

I read somewhere that Earl of Sandwich is open at 8:30 am, before the stores that open at 10, so since I'll be arriving early to WDW I thought I'd have breakfast there and take a walk around Disney Springs before hitting a park. I know the stores will be closed but is that possible? Or is access to Disney Springs somehow closed until 10 and you can only go directly to Earl of Sandwich?

Yes of course you can. It's all an open area so you can stroll around even when the stores are not open yet.
