Can you upgrade to concierge level after you have booked?

We are staying at the WL in may and wondered if you can upgrade to a concierge level room, if available, once we have arrived? We booked a package from the uk but I might treat us to an upgrade, depending on costs, once we get there. Any ideas on the upgrade costs?

If its available, you can upgrade. We did this at the BW a few summers ago. We had a split trip planned between BC and contemporary. We had club level at the BC, but it wasn't available at the Contemp. After a few days at the Contemp, we decided to see what resort had the club for the rest of our stay. Only the BW had them for every day we were still in WDW. We called and they changed our reservation and we switched resorts and moved to club level the next morning. They even transferred our balance over to the new resort (since we were on property and we weren't canceling a reservation after the deadline). Your request is easy compared to what we did.

You sure can as long as its available. Don't know if its worth the money though. We didn't think so when we stayed at AKL.
