Last year my 3 year old daughter met a girl called Emily (13-15) whilst we were at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Friday 14 September 2012. Emily gave her a gift that night and since then my daughter, Evie, has not stopped talking about her. I'd really love to try and trace Emily's family so Evie could say hello!

I have no idea where to start. I know Emily's family were all Disney World fans and had been to the Halloween party many times, so I'm hoping they use the forums too. But is there a better forum to get in touch with US fans?

We met Emily's family whilst we were waiting to see the Dwarves. It was about 6.00pm. Emily was with her mum, dad and brother. I believe they were from one of the northern states, but I may have this mixed up with one of the other families we met. I do remember that Emily's mum was a travel agent. Whilst we were waiting her dad and brother sneaked out of the queue for a quick ride on Splash Mountain.

If anyone can recommend anyway at all that we could track them down it would be much appreciated.

Many thanks!

Wishing you luck. If they are WDW fans hopefully they are here and remember the encounter they had with you. You left some great clues to help them remember. There are so many, many Disney fan sites, (in my honest opinion this one rules) so hopefully they are loyal followers here too. Calling Emily... Emily are you out there?

I definitely will! I made a point of leaving some key facts out of the story so we can absolutely verify it is them should we find them.

I posted this on another forum and unfortunately didn't receive quite such a positive response, effectively suggesting I could be a teen stalker. Shame.

Well, you could be...we don't know you, but, I don't think that is the case. However, if you don't get a response that would be a good reason why you didn't. Good luck!

Well we got some suspicious minds here too.... such a shame.. on the other hand I understand there are real bad guys out there and terrible when one feels they have to assume all are bad guys until proven a good guy..

Hope you find Emily and her family again and get to reconnect!

I totally know how you feel.
In December while staying at FW we had a family in a nearby cabin come up to us and ask if my daughter would like a stroller that they could not use anymore. It was a nice stroller so we said sure and thanks. They said they would leave it in front of our cabin since they still wanted to use it that day in the parks. When we got back to our cabin that night not only had they left the stroller, but they had also left a Belle dress from BBB, some really cute croc sandal things, a Castaway Cay jacket, and some black dress shoes! DD was so excited and I felt so bad that I had not even gotten their names. DD wears that Belle dress almost every day and wears the shoes all the time and can't wait for it to be a little less cold so she can wear the jacket and the stroller has really come in handy.
If any of you happen to be that family thank you thank you thank you, you are awesome!

This needs support. You should start #FindEmily on Twitter and post to Reddit.com/r/Disney as well! Let's find Emily!

Emily was the name of original Bride in the Haunted Mansion.

Emily, in the MK HM attic.

Now she's been replaced by Constance the murderess at DL and WDW....but she's still at Tokyo.

Marion is the Bride at DLP's Phantom Manor.

Elizabeth doesn't count because she was only in the crappy Eddie Murphy movie.
