Ok, my family and I were debating this earlier, but a while ago, when Tower Of Terror was only one and i think when it was 2 drops, wasnt there always a Cast Member in the elevator with you that got off later in the ride, before it dropped? I swear I remember a CM in the elevator with us the 1st time i did it. well thanx in advance for ur help

Nope you are imagining that one! No CMs were ever in the elevators.

lol. If you had a CM along for the ride, he was strapped in with the rest of ya, which means one visitor not being able to ride at that time.

I remember when TOT first opened, after the Elevators were loaded with guests, the castmember would walk into the elevator WITH you and give a little scary SPEECH.

Right after that he or she would get back off the ride and close the doors.

Maybe this is what you are thinking of.

Now they just glance in to make sure the one seat belt is buckled and all the bars are down.

It's a little less personal but I'm sure it's done this way now to speed up loading times.

Everytime I have ridden the ToT recently they have given the speach...I guess I am just lucky

Its operating procedure for the CM to go inside the elevator to check every lap bar, and the centre jump seat belt. the *GOOD* CMs then deliver some additional spiel and then exit the elevator and doors close.

You may not get the spiel inside the elevator, but your CM should always enter the elevator to manually check the restraints

.....and don´t sit next to a big person that doesn´t allow the bar to reach your lap..... unless you want to ride it standing up! happened to me and don´t recommend it!

Thanks you guys, thats prob wut I was thinking of, although I am almost positive that they rode a little ways and got off at a different location, like the first floor you stop on, my family thought so, but i figured if any1 knew the answer it would be all of you
oh and about sitting next to some1 whos bigger than you, I love that! i always try to get next to some1 bigger than me or use the seat belt seat, cuz i think its such a cool feeling when ur not even touching the seat

This reminds me: Why in all Disney advertisments of ToT people are shown to be standed ? It's a trick to make you feel more scared of it? Maybe.

Ya ive noticed that too and have no idea why, IMO i would think it was a bad idea to do that becuz then less people get on the ride cuz they are scared of it.
