Hi folks !

Im a long time follower but an infreqeunt poster, (sorry) anyway my family and i are taking our first vacation to France this october with our kids and are planning to be in DLRP for halloween !!!!!!!!:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:
I have a few questions I'm hoping someone on here may have answers too...
Information on the party is quiet hard to find.

Is it ok (for the adults) to dress up for the halloween party ?

Is there Trick or Treat stations around the park like over here?

How well managed are the crowds?

And finally any tips or ideas on what will make our vacation truly spectactular?

Thank you in advance for any and all info you may have..

I went last year. I am not sure which party you are talking about tho, as they have 2 at DL and 1 at WDS. I went to the actual halloween party on 10/31. Yes, you can dress up, but no treats were handed out.

I was there for 5 days beginning on 10/30 and had a great time. I stayed at the DL hotel on DVc points and loved being so close to the park. i probably would have had a better time if I hadn't gone alone, and brushed up on my French. There were plenty of CMs that I encountered that did not speak English. Some of the shows are rotated in languages, which I thought was a great idea. When I watched the show in the castle forecourt (I can't remember the name) they did announcements in 4 or 5 languages, and the show was in english and french (MM spoke French and MN english I believe).

I took a day trip to paris using the tour bus company that runs from Hotel NY - it was worth the money for me, as I would have not gone to paris by myself. I was able to tour the Louve in under 2 hours (I'd say you need a day there it's so big, but 2 hours is what we had...) and see the Tour de Eiffel. The one photo of myself during the 2 weeks I was gone was at the Eiffel Tower!

Enjoy your trip but realize that it is a different park than what we are used to here in orlando (or even Anaheim). I found it to be quite dirty. Oh, the popcorn is not hot buttered like we have here - it's more like carmel corn without the carmel....I didn't realize that and got some when I really wanted hot buttered...

I hope you have a great trip, we are going to all three of the parties this year, the two in Disneyland Parc and the Terrorific event at the Studios.

Here are the rules for each event.

Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party & Disney's Halloween Party:
Costumes are permitted for children and adults starting at 5pm. The Management reserves the right to refuse entry direction to anyone whose disguise might be dangerous or shocking to. Visitors who would like to wear Disney Character costumes agree to refrain from posing for pictures or signing autographs.

Disney's TERRORIFIC NIGHT
Costumes and masks are strictly prohibited at this event.

Well even though some of the parties were non costume, we noticed hundreds of people dressed up (some of the costumes pretty elaborate) so Disney doesn't appear to be very firm on keeping this rule.
