We usually ( 905) travel to disney in july every year except for occassional august or oct. When we go in july Id say we get a huge passing thunder boomer everyday for short periods..evryday..but this year we are arriving june 10-20..I read where they say JUNE is the rainiest season of the year...can it possibly rain more than EVERYDAY?......are the storms longer? They can't be more violent I dont believe because july's are pretty loud...lol

I love Florida thunderstorms!!

Worst trip to WDW I ever had was when a tropical storm rolled through for most of the entire week... it got to be so wet, damp and humid even in the room our cell phones would not work....but that wasn't in June, so I digress....

I recently noticed that, too. I would have thought August would be the rainiest.

We've been in June where it has rained lots every day, all day! And we've been in June where there were the typical afternoon rain storms! And we've been in June where it was hotter than it was at home in Texas! My in-laws go in June and late July or early August each summer. In late summer you have the tropical storm or hurricane to deal with. They've been through a storm 2 or 3 different times now. They have only had the park close down once. They came to their rooms and brought in the patio furniture last year. My mother-in-law said that the hotel was freezing duing the storm last summer, and that people were going out and buying sweatshirts in July!

Never been in July but went in June last year and boy did it rain! It rained 90% of the day in Magic Kingdom, about 40% of the day in EPCOT at about 60% of the day when we checked out. Granted 2 days after we left Tropical Storm Deb rolled in which was probably the cause for such a washout.

Another tip, we thought June meant HOT as in lets not pack any sweatshirts, well we were wrong and the day we were at Magic Kingdom we froze! We ended up with lots of soups and hot cocoas throughout the day.

It rains a lot in June, July and August. I never looked up which month gets the most rain, but there is enough rain to go around. :). We are either being drenched or in a drought, lol. It would be nice if Mother Nature would spread that rain out, but that is not her fancy, I suppose. :)

The mornings are usually (not always, but more often than not) good. Make the most of your mornings! :D

And Disney likes to sell those ponchos. Watch the masses run into the shops and come out with the Disney ponchos that they end up wearing for about 30 minutes.;)

We found the mornings to be the best times in the parks! never any rain, low crowds, nice temperature.

The water can get ankle-deep in the parks, especially when it rains hard for an extended period of time. A second pair of shoes is always a good idea!!!

If you're going to stay and tromp through it, you might like to have a dry pair to put on the next morning.
