Hello all,

I was wondering if someone could tell me about Tiffanys car company?? ABout how much it costs?
I read on here that everyone loves the company but I couldn't find the thread. Also if you have the number and or the website that would be great. Thanks!!

The wife and I used them in November and will be using them again this year. They were well worth the extra charge over Mears and are actually cheaper if you have 3-4 people.

Be forewarned that it is more expensive to go to a MK resort as opposed to Epcot, DS, or AK. ($5) You should also be able to find a coupon on their websitre for $5 off your first use with Tiffany's.

the coupon is only for a round trip, not one way. There is a lot of information about them on Deb Wills's web site, wdwig.com. I've heard great things about them too, and we are using them on Saturday. DOn't forget that they will make a grocery stop for you for a half hour on the way to the resort for no extra charge, but you need to tell them this when yoou book.

That extra charge is because of a toll at the MK Plaza (?). It isn't anything sinister.

Can't say enough good about town cars as opposed to MEARS!!

When you get to the baggage carousel, someone will be there with your name on a card. They will help you with your bags, and you will be on the road within 15 minutes.

(The final straw with Mears was waiting over an hour on the lower level to get a shuttle whilst inhaling diesel fumes!)

We are planning on making the change next time we go to WDW because we will be staying at a DVC resort for the first time!:sohappy: That grocey store stop is great.

What I am wondering is does anyone know if they have car seats, do they charge more for them? Our daughter will be almost 2 when we go next. (we would love not to bring one and don't use it on the flight.)

They will supply a car seat free of charge. But, just like the gorcery stop, you must request it in advance.

Next week will be the third time that we are going with Tiffany. They deliver what they promise.

Also, ask them to stop at a Publix. If you don't, they usually stop at Gooding's which is considerably more expensive.

DisneyPhD: In case you didn't know, the American Academy of Pediatrics has just announced that they recommend that ALL children fly in car seats, especially children under 2. So you may want to take your seat and then install it in the town car when you arrive...

Wow what great info. I think we will be going with them ...our group of 8 the kids will love that..I am assuming they will do all hours of the day and night?? Also do you know if they have booster seats..we will be bringing the car seat for the one who will be two but the 5 yr old is small for her age and is not yet 40 lbs so she still has to be in a booster seat...BUT they dont allow them on the airline! So I hate to bring it and have to check it as luggage!

Thanks for the info, but he last time we flew our baby was only 8 months old and it was much eaiser to hold her or let her lay on the seat to sleep. If you don't buy them a seat, you can't have a car seat for them on the plane. It is not that I don't care about her safety. I do greatly and am very careful at home and in cars with her, but when it comes to air planes, in the event of the unthinkable, a car seat isn't going to really help. If the plane goes down, I want her in my arms. (Then again I don't dwell on the unthinkable, or I won't get on the plane in the first place. )

Thanks for the info Disney Dentist, I have been wondering about that. It is one thing to lug around the infant seat, but those todler seats are BIG!

We have used Tiffany twice before and will be using them again in May. I can't recommend them highly enough!
They have always been on time, very polite and very professional. Last year, we had some extra time before we needed to be at the airport so our driver gave us a very nice tour of Celebration.
Mears? We don't need no stinking Mears...

We've used Tiffany three times in the past three years and will use them again in June. When my wife and I make plans to return to WDW, the third thing on the list, after hotel and airline reservations, is to reserve a car from Tiffany. They are very professional, always cheerful, prompt, and give us a great start to our trips. I join everyone else in highly recommending them!:sohappy:

I've used them twice already. Brian S. is an excellent driver. Very informative, polite and willing to please. We made the grocery stop and it saved so much money in the long run, if just for cokes and water alone.

Here's how good the company was this past January. I was flying down with my mother, boyfriend, aunt, uncle and cousins. We all used Tiffany but had two cars. They were great with remembering which Maloney party got which driver and what cars. We also had several problems with our flight and ended up having to call Tiffany from Boston and say that we would be in 3 hrs ahead of schedule. They were awesome with quickly changing the reservations for both parties (I was on a cell phone boarding the plane) and were standing right there when we finally made it to Orlando, even with the drivers we requested. What could have been a bad situation was fixed in five minutes. They didn't complain once! (Even though the reservation had already been changed 3 times the day before! Damn Logan Airport!)

I cannot say enough about them and would recommend them to everyone. Hope this helps!
