Can I make it to Fireworks?

I arrive in Orlando at 8:20pm on Halloween Night. My Plan is to get onto Magical Express to All Stars, catch a bus to either EPCOT or Magic Kingdom then Monorail to the Polynesian to watch Hallowishes from there at 10:15pm (hopefully with a Dole Whip in hand). Is this possible or should I plan on missing them? I would love to make it to the Halloween Party but my flight gets in too late.

Several thoughts, which may involve your spending more money but seems like the only way to cut down on time to see the fireworks (Others on this forum, feel free to chime in):
1. Can you take Magical Express directly to Poly? What about Uber Or Minnie Van?
2. Then check your luggage with luggage services at Poly while you watch fireworks (if they'll let you. Tipping them may help in this effort).
3. Because of luggage, either Uber or Minnie Van to All Stars after fireworks.

Otherwise, if you went with your plan, I would do two things to cut down on time:
1. Immediately check your luggage with luggage services at All Stars. Ask that they deliver your luggage to your room. Tip nicely.
2. Uber or Minnie Van directly to Poly.

Yup - it's doable if your plane is not delayed and you do not use Magical Express, nor the internal Disney buses. I suggest you backpack it onto the plane, have all your other luggage tagged for ME. They will pull it and send it forward it to the resort even if you're not on M.E.

When you land contact uber or Lyft and book it to the pickup location in the airport, have it take you directly to the Contemporary. Briskly walk to the MK. Expect security to give you a moment reviewing your carry on, but my bet is they've seen worse with strollers. Slow down the pace and Enjoy!

Guests may only ride the DME bus to the resort they are staying at. Since @WDW_Emily is booked at an All Star resort, taking DME to the Poly is not an option. This negates your suggestions #2 and #3.

#1 ~ Bell Services will not deliver luggage to a guest room unless the guest is present in the room. Only bags with the yellow tags that are pulled at MCO are delivered to rooms without guests needing to be present.

#2 ~ This would be the best option, with Uber being far cheaper than the $150 Minnie Van fee.

About your first comment, okay regarding DME, but there is still the option of Uber or Minnie Van. Or even the old fashioned option of cab.

Re #1, that’s incorrect. I’ve arrived at a resort to find out my room wasn’t ready. I left my luggage per usual. I told them I wouldn’t be back from the park until after closing. I tipped them as I left. My luggage was in my room when I returned in the evening.

I believe I agreed with you in my post.

Which resort(s) was this? Per my experiences at POR, WL and Poly, Bell Services said they would not deliver stowed luggage unless someone was in the room to receive it.

Thank you all for your replies! I'm planning on only having a backpack on the airport and checking my other bag. I know Uber/ Lyft is expensive from the airport but anyone have an estimate on the cost from All Star to the monorail loop resorts?

It’s fairly cheap using Uber. $12 or so. Maybe?

I'd say its slim to none. Figure 10-20 minutes from that 8:20 time to actually make it to the DME area. Then potentially a another 10-20 minute wait for the bus, then a 45-60 minute trip. Odds are you don't make it to All Stars until 10. Add on the 10-25 minutes wait for the bus, then the 15-20 minutes transit to the MK. You would then need to clear security at MK to make it onto the Monorail, then another 5-10 minutes to take the monorail to the Poly.

If you dash off the plane with only a carry on, and do an Uber from the airport direct to the Poly, you stand a decent chance of making it. But using Disney transit means that every single star would need to align, plane on time, walking right onto buses that leave immediately, etc in order to make it.

Using that method of getting to the Polynesian, like said before, too many factors and you likely not to make it in time. However, the last Happy HalloWishes presentation of this year will be on November 1st. So if you would be able to do that you'll be less crunched for time.
WAIT WHAT?!?!? IS THERE MAGICALLY A HALLOWEEN PARTY ON THE 1ST I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT?!?!?

It's in the bellman's contract that a guest needs to be present so that there is a tip opportunity, this is the reason for the policy. If you tip ahead then this negates the reason for not delivering the bags. This is the reason the DME luggage can be delivered since there's already an agreed upon rate that's paid to the bellman for that luggage.

Value resorts may be different. From what I recall, value resorts do not have Bell Services, they have Luggage Services, and tend to operate a little differently.

Yeah the luggage service at value resorts is not Disney, it's operated by Bags, Inc. I don't remember off hand how they operate, but in general ask nice and tip ahead of time and you can usually get whatever you want.
