Can I make FP+ Selections?

I am a WDW AP Holder and I was wondering if I can book FP+? When I go to the app and I enter my pass code/number my name doesn't come up, some random dudes does, is this number supposed to be my magic band number? (Don't have a band)

Unless you have a MagicBand from a resort stay, you cannot book FP+ yet. AP holders are "supposed" to get a MagicBand and FP+ access sometime in 2014.
