Can I have flowers, chocolate, etc. waiting for me in my WDw hotel room?

Long story short, I'm heading down there in December with the girlfriend for a week. I plan on proposing to her right when we get in the hotel room (I have a little presentation planned for her). But besides that, when we first walk into our room on the arrival day, is there anyway the room can be made up with flowers, chocolates, candles, etc.?

I'm looked on disneyflorist.com but it doesn't say that it would be there on our arrival when we first walk into the room.

I'm staying at Coronado Springs.

If you want it there and waiting when you get there, you may need to go 'in-house' with Disney to have it done. I suggest calling the contact number given here and asking if you can have an "in-room celebration" planned before you actually arrive on site: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/floral-and-gifts/ While you have them on the line, you can ask if outside agencies are allowed to come in before your arrival and provide a similar service.

Best of luck on your proposal! :)

Oh, and one more tip -- DO NOT note the proposal anywhere on your reservation. Awhile back, a CM totally blew it for someone on this board who was planning to propose, by flinging a "celebration - engagement" button at his intended fiance and telling her "congratulations" at check-in. Perhaps you could send your girlfriend off to pick up some cold drinks or snacks for the room while you take care of checking in, so you can make any inquiries about whether the room is ready discreetly.

I agree with Weather_Lady. The issue is your room is generally not assigned until you check in so that is often why they don't do pre-delivery. But I'm sure it doesn't hurt to call and ask.

Agreed - do not do this!!

There was another thread where a guy had the celebration listed and his girlfriend called to make a payment and the CM on the phone confirmed the celebrations with her. :banghead:

Another possibility: if you can get your GF to go somewhere else while you check in and you find out that your assigned room is not yet festooned with flowers, etc. you could tell your girlfriend a little white lie that the room is "not ready yet" and that the resort will text you when it is. (Instead, have them text you when the decorations/flowers are in place.) Leave your bags with bell services and go off to a park for a little bit.

I had a cake and flowers delivered for my wife's birthday in February at BLT. Flowers were there when we arrived in room and cake was there when we returned from Crystal Palace dinner. Just as I requested.
