Can I Do an Upgrade??

I am staying the Wilderness Lodge in August with Free Dining. I noticed that some resorts have lower prices for the same time I go. I wondered if I called and asked for an upgrade to another resort....would it happen for the same price I paid with my free dining still part of my package? I wanted to upgrade my room but it was really much more too....any help is appreciated!

If the cheaper price is because of a special discounted room rate, then no, you cannot switch and combine discounts. You can only have one discount per reservation.

But if the other resort's rate is cheaper while still being under the Free Dining promotion, then yes, you can call and switch (as long as you do it outside of your 45-day window. After that there are change fees)

Lastly, Free Dining at the Deluxe resort level is typically *not* your best deal, depending on the size of your party. You want to make sure to do the math, as it is likely cheaper to book a discounted Deluxe room, and then pay full price for the Dining Plan. (Compared to paying full price for the room and then getting the Dining Plan thrown in free)
