Can costumed characters (Mickey, Goofy etc) tell each other apart in pictures?

One thing I've wondered is if each of the X number of Mickey CMs and other famous characters can identify themselves in pictures or videos. I've been watching a bunch of YouTube clips of WDW vacation videos, and if I was a costumed character I'd be curious to know if that was me in that costume or someone else. Maybe there's a tiny tiny identification marking on all costumes so WDW can tell each CM apart?

No...all costumes are the Same...there would be no way to tell...unless you knew the location, date, show, and time of the picture. The costumes are bar-coded for inventory purposes, but those are not visible.

I would imagine Aladdin, Jasmine, Mary Poppins, Ariel, and some face charactors MIGHT be able to tell who it is. I Say might, because even they all look pretty much the same.

That being said, there are different designs for the charactors...for instance in Fantasmic!, Mickey is constantly changing his costume, from Tux to classic, to prince and the pauper, to 1928 mickey, to sorcerer, and back to tux.

This is an easy one...

of COURSE Mickey recognizes himself in pictures. Don't you recognize YOURSELF in pictures? The only one that gets a bit confused is Goofy, and well, that's because he's Goofy.

What's this? This thread confuses me. Of course Mickey can tell himself apart from Donald! He has big ears and Donald is a waterfowl! :)

If you know CMs pretty well, sometimes you can kind of tell by their mannerisms. I've checked with some friends of mine who laughed and said "how did you know?!".

Off topic....we had a problem the other day with Pluto and Stitch. Some dumb punks decided to beat up on them and one of the kids gave Stitch whiplash.

Why are people so stupid!?!?!?!?

Wait....

THERES PEOPLE INSIDE THEM!?

Do the characters EAT people?!?!?!

Ok, back on the real subject (which we're all grown up enough to discuss....nobody said "peepee"). I have a feeling that some of the entertainment CMs could identify themselves in photos. 2 weeks ago we were taking advantage of MK's Friday night EMH (no crowd) and got our pics with all of the A-List Characters in Fantasyland Plaza. Minnie and Mickey had to "take a break to go eat some of Minnie's famous cheesecake" (aka, rotate CMs). When "Minnie came back out" it was apparant that she ate far too much cheesecake! One of the girls in our group pointed out that the arms and legs on the the new Minnie were substantially thicker than the chicken legs on the first one.

If a CM knows what they look like in the costumes (aka, from seeing known pic of themselves) and how they stand (they're all trained to stand like their character, but there are always still slight differences) and some poses they like to do often - they're probably going to at least assume that one in a pic is them.

We met up with someone I know from....somewhere.....who is good "friends" with Mickey, Minnie and about 15 other of our furry pals. He/She was doing [a certain character] rotations at a location in one of the parks. I called him/her so that we could meet up before her next 20-min session and hang out a bit and chat. He/She was pointing out which ones of the characters passing us to and from the break room were male and which were female, etc. When He/She went out to do his/her next session, and we noticed an obvious difference between him/her and other Minnie's we'd seen.

Whew, that was a lot of typing simply to say, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure there are some CMs who can identify themselves in pics"
