I really hope someone else remembers the show that I'm thinking of, because I cannot find it on YouTube or Wikipedia, any attempt I've had to find it leads me nowhere. I figured with all the people on here who have been going to WDW for decades, someone out there has got to remember the show I'm talking about. I really was beginning to wonder if I was losing my mind, until my parents corroborated that they remembered it too, and will try to look for photos/videos of this show, but seeing as it's been 14 years since we last saw it, I doubt we still have any tapes or pictures.
The show I'm thinking of was at Hollywood Studios (at the time it was MGM) in summer 2007. We think it was called "Mickey's Magic Show" or something along those lines. It wasn't there in August 2006, because my family was at Disney World then and would've seen it had it been there, and by the time we went to Disney World again in August 2009, it was gone. I was only seven years old when we saw the show and I'm now 21, so I don't have the sharpest details in the memories, but I want to see if what I can describe rings any bells to anyone else.
The theatre it was in was near The Voyage of the Little Mermaid, roughly near where Toy Story Mania is now. It was a smaller theatre, no where near the size of the Beauty and the Beast show theatre, probably closer to Muppet theatre size. The show had fur and face characters like Fantasmic and Beauty and the Beast. I'm a little fuzzy on what exactly the plot was, but here is what I do remember. Mickey was doing some magic tricks and I think he was teaching his protégé ( I cannot remember his name but he was a young, thin, handsome guy with dark hair and red button-up shirt that was left open with a T-shirt underneath) some of his magic tricks. There was a part with Cinderella, Snow White, and Belle and different colored roses, a part with Jasmine where they made her levitate and had silver rings around her body, and there was one part where red-shirt guy was left alone and had a comedic bit where he kept messing up a trick involving a pizza and a pizza box. Because it was gone by August 2009 (probably even earlier) and because Toy Story Mania came in around 2009 too, and because Toy Story Mania is now roughly where that theatre was, my family thinks Disney just put that show in that area to fill a space until Toy Story Mania was ready to open.
