I was wondering if there are camps that take place at WDW. such as like staying at a hotel and like going to the parks with groups of different kids? if so, can I have the links?

Thanks Luis.

I have been to that LiveWire that WDW Monorail mentioned this past summer. It was the most amazing experience...ever. I met some great people that I still talk to every single day. The counselors were great and we had a blast creating our own video.
However, the camp has recently been renamed and everyone that went to the camp was sent an email with what the cam would look like this upcoming summer. Everyone from the camp this summer are very poed because we had such an amazing time, we had so much freedom to hang out with whoever we wanted and go wherever we wanted. The camp used to 6 days and 7 nights but it is now longer and 1000 bucks more expensive. Here is what the email said if you are looking into it next year:
* Duration - 11nights, 10 days
* Cost – $3150. Includes: Disney Theme park Park Hopper Pass, accommodations at Disney Resorts, Meals (dinner the night of arrival, all meals during the program and breakfast the day of departure). Does not include travel.
* A brief description – Giant Campus Disney Experience is an active and engaging geoteaming program that leverages the unique experiences around the Disney World theme park. Teams will navigate around the theme park each day with a unique assignment towards the program goals with a focus on areas such as:

· Global Awareness as teams navigate EPCOT’s World’s Fair to learn a fact about every country

· Financial Literacy as the teams combine a visit to DisneyQuest with a visit to the Downtown Disney Mall where students will have to maximize a budget to help create new products from existing products to trade/sell at a later fair,

· Planning and strategy as they attempt to ride as many rides as possible without breaking any rules

Teens will use various technology devices such as: GPS receivers, PDAs, cell phones, radios, and digital cameras to assist them in searching for hidden caches, finding answers to puzzles using provided clues, and documenting finds. Much like the popular reality TV show Amazing Race, participants will have new awareness of the tensions of working together with the natural drive to compete. They will learn from teachable moments of communication, planning, leadership and problem solving.

Our opinion is that we do not go to a summer camp to learn about stuff we can learn in school. It was a video production camp last year and now there says nothing about video production at all. But they also sent out questions to fill out and send back to them. We are all still in the process and can hopefully get the amazing time back that we had last year.
Sorry to ramble on like this. :lol:
If you read about the camp in the link you can tell that this is totally different.
