I just got myself a new digital and the waterprrof housing for the camera I was wondering if it would be a problem if I took it with me to Typhoon and Blizzard. I was looking to take some pictures of the attraction and some of the new stuff as well as the stuff I seen many times before. I was wondering if it would be a problem when I went on slides , meaning whether the cast member would give me a hard tiem about it not the logistics of carrying ti with me. Any help would be much appreciated.

I took my camera in fine. It didn't have waterproof casing so I didn't take it IN the water, but I took some pix of Blizzard Beach with it. No problems at all.

A friend of mine took her underwater camera to Blizzard Beach last week. The lifeguards told us that as long as you are able to obey the rules on the slides (crossing arms/ holding on to handles) it's not a problem to have your camera with you at all.

yeh, and i sure with those rules about riding slides, swimming, etc etc are pretty common....... it is sad that there are probably unspoken rules about enforcing perves not to be able to take underwater photos of people etc etc in their bathing suits.

sad but true that they probably have to look for this stuff in a family park.

great shots MKT. wonderful focus since the water is soooo cold. im sure it is a point and shoot, but still i was shivering if i remember correctly. :zipit:

I've always wanted to take my camera to a waterpark, but there's just no way I'd risk it. It's one of the most expensive things I own other than my house and van!

You can now buy disposible water camera's. I know I've seen them in Walmart and they aren't expensive at all, well under $10.

That is what we did last September......

But I still don't think we have it developed yet....

I wasn't particularly worried about the camera itself since I've taken more expensive cameras snokeling and scuba diving. I was more concerned with the fact if I got to the top of a ride to take some shots and make sure I could take it down with me on the slide so I don't have to look like and idiot and deal with my impatient family saying why do you have to walk all the way up to the top and then walk all the way down just to get some stupid pictures. My family loves Disney but not that much, lol.

Its also my 50th post so woohoo
