Camera Suggestion?

Right now I have a Sony DSC H7 (http://bit.ly/pGwkVG) and while it is nice, it doesn't do all I want it to, so I'm looking to upgrade. I want to have be able to have a high ISO setting with little grainy-ness. With my current camera I get up to ISO 3200 but the pictures are very, very grainy. Also, I can't change lenses and that is something I'd really like to do.

After looking a little, I found these two that are somewhat in my budget and seem to have high ISO settings that may produce nice images.

Canon EOS Rebel T3 18-55mm IS II Kit http://bit.ly/hy6SQm

Sony Alpha a35 http://bit.ly/rjOpjO

Thanks for any input.

ISO is only half of the equation. The sensor also makes a HUGE difference (as does lens speed and various other factors that are mostly concerns of those diving in with dslr).

The big thing to realize is that there is no "perfect" camera for low light...especially out of the box. You want the best performance..you have to get a fast lens...full frame body...and a damn good sensor. Those things are all pretty expensive.

However, it seems to me that you are actually more interested in "acceptable" performance..and for that..either of those bodies will do nicely (tho I would PERSONALLY suggest not to go with the kit lens for low light). I also would PERSONALLY highly recommend you look at the Nikon D7000 (or even D5100) in addition to the ones you listed above. There are many fish in the sea, and in the end its the one you feel most fits your budget..as well as the one that "feels" right in your hands.
