Camera Settings

I have a manual 35 mm SLR camera and have had it for quite a while. I manage sometimes to get the settings just right- and have taken a photography class before- but can't remember what settings to put it on to capture the best pictures I can. While going over some old Disney stuff- I found at the back of an Epcot guide map a list of settings for Disney park stuff. The only problem is that the film they suggest for the specific settings is no longer made. I've scanned the chart and I'll post a link to it below. Can anyone help me find a film that would be the equivilent to the film noted in the chart. Thanks for any help in advance. I really want to capture a lot of good pictures on my next trip to the world.

While thats an interesting (if not standard and typical) chart, all of those are for the speed film, 50, 100, 200, 400 etc. Doesnt matter the manufacturer or brand, the speed refers to the sensitivity or ISO raiting. 100 speed allows for either slower shutter speeds or a narrow depth of field while 400 & 800 allow for very fast shutter speeds and a large apature.

So what should i tell you? Well you cvan either follow that chart or put your camera on automatic. Eitherway, i;'d need to knwo some more specifics like type of camera and what kinda film. IM me and we'll talk.

I just finished reading a great book called Understanding Exposure. It has already made some difference for me in getting better looking pics (my camera tends to overexpose when left to it's own devices) but also in getting a more creative in my picture taking. I would think that this would be way better than going off a fairly generic chartthat does not begin to take in to account differing weather conditions, time of day, etc.

Good luck. I hope this helps.
