Ok, now I know this is a Disney forum, but I am looking for Six Flags fans, and even more Six Flags Great Adventure fans.

My girlfriend is turning 16 and I want to do something very specail for her. So I have planned to take her (suprise, shhh dont tell her) to SFGA with a bunch of her friends. No wI know I can get a group rate cause it will be over 15 people and she gets in free cause there is one free for every 10. So my question is, do they have better deals? DO they have Birthday packages? Any tips, ideas, help???

What do you think of it?

I'm a Six Flags Great America fan

As a precaution...does she ride coasters?
If she does and you guys go often why not pick up a seasonal pass. They're usually pay themselves off in 2 trips. Since there's so many people, try picking up a family pass. It's usually $10 dollars cheaper. that way you and your gf can go back whenever you want :sohappy: . As for Birthday packages, I'm not sure? Your could always call them direct and ask.

Yeah, I am not big on coasters. She is and for her birthday gift, if she likes SFGAdv I will get her a season pass as the gift. If not, I will prob. get her a huge stuffed tigger and some candy. But I cant afford the cost of the party (her parents wont pay for it or give her a party) so I will pay part of it, and then insted of bringing her a gift (they always can if they want) but they have to pay prob, $25 and then any of their family has to pay the full group rate. I am also paying for the meal package for each one. I dont know how I will get all this money by April 30 (when it has to be booked), but tomorrow morning I am gonna call them and find out if I can get like a party deal.

I know this is a long shot, but do you know anyone who works at six flags? They could probably get you a discount? Plus since the seasons just about to kick in there should be a couple of discount's floating around (eg supermarkets or coca cola cans).

Well I dont know anyone who works for SF. BUt I did talk to guest services today, and found out the party package is 39 per person, 15 min. So its about $585 for the first 15 people. I have to talk it over with her sister who is helping pay for it, but I think we can pull it off. I would ride the coasters but I am scared to death of them. I will how ever ride the run away mine train, and skull mountain. I was on Nitro once and I will never do it again.

I hope it all works out, I really want to make my girl friends party special.
