So I think I may be leaving the Wilderness Lodge woo-hoo club. Now with the free dining offer I am seriously considering changing to my original resort, the Riverside. Since we are driving I'm going to just stick with a standard room. I will be saving about $500.

There is only three of us so the room size is no big deal. To be honest it's the resort that I wanted to stay at to begin with. My husband walking wise and riding the boat would do better at wilderness lodge but I think $500 changed his mind. Lol. I must be the only one who looked forward to downgrading resort lol. Last year was my first one on property and using the buses. I couldn't believe all the walking to get from and to the bus stop. I really missed walking out of the park to the tram and getting dropped off at end of our row. I think we will just drive to the parks to avoid the buses as much as possible.

Hi Pooh Lover after staying at the GF and the Poly, WL is my favourite and it's cheaper than them! Stop telling people how nice it is there, everyone will want to go! Ssshhhh.

Apparently no one listened because I am still on hold. Lol. Ugh the stress! Missed the exact 7 am calling. I'm trying to get my daughter off to school.

If you can save 500$ I guess it's worth it, but WL is a deluxe and it has indoor corridors. They say "welcome home" when you arrive, and the geyser is pretty cool. Oh yes, the lobby is beautiful. Artist point is a nice restaurant and Whispering Canyon Cafe is fun! Whatever you choose, I wish you a magical time!

I was thinking about you not being able to stay at te contemporary and here I am overjoyed to go to Riverside. Lol. Yeah there's something wrong with me! We would have had four day military tickets and I would have been running my husband around the parks to make the most of it. Now we have the whole week and can come and go as we please.

I was tortured even more by it today. I called today- for my dad- to get confirmation on the exact discount for the Contemporary...since the first girl said 5%MK view and 20%standard garden w/nothing for the other rooms...then yesterday I was told 20% for everything but the MK views. Well, the girl today told me 30% for everything but MK views. I was soooo excited...just to find out the only thing left are tower bay lake rooms. I can't help but wonder if there were garden rooms available when i called the other day. I can justify the increase for the garden wing, but it's an extra $400 to bump up to the tower...so I stayed strong and said no. I just hate the inconsistent info. Oh well... I'm happy you're happy. It sounds like things really have worked out for the best for you guys.
