California Screamin'

Hey, does anybody have any ride reports from this coaster? It looks cool, but I hear they have both a launch and a lift hill. That interests me.

i rode California screamin' a few times in march... was an ok coaster - definately not much compared to some of the huge thrill rides out there - but it fit in nicely with the paradise pier part of california adventure...

it starts off with a launch and then a lift midway.. ...
in this pic, the tunnel in the foreground is what you hit right after the launch and the one in the background is the 'lift'

hope that helps... as far as a ride report... honestly, it wasn't all that memorable... fun coaster for families who want to take a loop together? did have a few good drops as well...

All I know is that it only has one loop. The lauch goes from 0 to 50 mph in 4 seconds. Not too bad but compared to the launch of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster launch.

Fun Ride

Went to DCA in March and rode it about 15 times.
My 18yr old daughter and I just loved it. It wasn't a real scary ride, but just plain fun and we laughed during to whole ride. But you really have to get in the front car to appreciate it. At the end they take your picture that you can purchase. It isn't in the Guiness Book of Top Ten Coasters but I had a blast riding it.
