California Screamin Loop Removal?

Hey,
I was just looking at some pictures on mousetimes.com and it showed the tracks that make up the loop being removed. Is this just Renovation or are they actually taking it down?

I hope not that is the best part of the ride !!!!!!!!!!!! But I dont think it would be possible to remove this without changing other major parts of the ride. Looks like they are just doing some needed repairs to it that is all

I notice that too. I thought it was werid. I hope that it does not leave that part. I liked that part of that ride. I think they are rehabing it.

It's for Midway Mania... they are demolishing the buildings that were previously there and prepping the area for various things to build its show building right under and behind California Screamin'. Hakuna matata

The Midway ride essentially is being built underneath Screamin'. The supports for the loop are in the wrong place for the ride though - so they're being repositioned. They took down the top part of the loop first, then the lower part, removed the supports, and then will build the new supports and rebuild the loop.

After that they can proceed to build the rest of the new ride around Screamin'.

Yep it was for midway. It was pretty cool to see though. Luckily I got to ride screamin on my first night there. TR coming soon.
