Wow, i'm surprised with the mid-late April soft openings, the ride looks like it could open in a couple weeks if you ask me, but I guess there's some stuff still needed to be done inside the ride. They just started lighting the Tower up a few nights ago.

Yeah, I was surprised. I caught Aladdin a few times on Monday (:lookaroun ) and each time I was amazed when I looked over from the staircases and saw how filled in the queue area is.

Well, you never know. Mission: SPACE started guest previews in June, and it's grand opening was at the end of September. It was open a lot during late July-September also. So, you never know, the Tower could start guest previews any day now.

They were testing the on-ride "photo op" equipment on Monday and Tuesday nights. We could stand on the train Platform at DL and watch them adjusting the strobe flash to time with the falling of the elevator car. Looked pretty cool with the zoom lens!

Also, the construction wall came down while we were there and a see-through mesh is in its place so you can see all the way to the Tower from the Hyperion Theater!

The ToT Rose Bowl Float looked AWESOME up close!

You guys are gonna LOVE the ride!!!

Really? I must've missed that Monday night! I was busy watching Aladdin. Repeatedly. :lookaroun But that just means I'll have to go back and see what's going on, oh, darn. ;)

And the Rose Parade float was great! I caught it on the last day there. Would've liked to see the car drop, but it was still pretty neat to see in person.
