Cali Grill vs. Concourse Steak???

We are now making reservations for our Dec trip. I get to choose between the California Grill or Concourse Steak . mmmmmmmm I cant decide??

We love the California Grill and try to get there everytime we are at WDW. The food, the wine, the service, the view, it is a great place.

We just ate at the California Grille for the first time. It was incredible.
I'm not sure about the Concourse Steak House.
The California Grille is quite pricey, but if you're going on one of the inclusive plans you should eat there for sure.

California Grille and the Concourse Steak House can not even fairly be compared, they are not even in the same universe. California Grille is hands down (in my humble opinion) the best restaurant in WDW, PERIOD. Concourse Steak House is good but, I mean come on the view alone makes California Grille worth eating at. Make reservations around the time they do the fireworks at MK, Awesome is the only way to describe it. The food - friggen great. Service – Ditto.


Did I mention the view? The fireworks?

EAT AT BOTH. Personally I would suggest that you make reservations for different nights. All that food in one night could give you a bad gut ache.

Moonchild... I would eat at California Grill. Like everyone is saying, the place is wonderful. They seem to have the best waitstaff, that really know what they are talking about. The view is perfect! The wine selection is even better!! As a matter a fact, we are going to eat there is December too! Only 79 more days...YIPEE!

We ate at both during the same vacation. I was not impressed with the selection at the Concourse and was definitely not impressed by what I got. However, the California Grill was great, if you like nouvelle cuisine (small portions - large price). Even my son who was 4 at the time liked the child's menu and the view of the castle. But I would try both. Can't hurt and everyone has different tastes.

I have choosen Cali Grill, thanks to all of you. and the fact that they have sushi as an appitizer. yum! So now we have Artist Point, Cali Grill, Sci Fi and Liberty Tree for our " fancy meals". And we are meeting with the wedding planners on Dec 6th. WOoo Hoo :sohappy: We've got our passes and tix for MVMCP. Im ready to go right now!

You cant compare them. It like comparing apples and oranges.

Both resturants are based on diffrent culinary fare.

California Grill Has a lighter menu and is only open for dinner where as Concource Steak House is mostly Steaks and chops and has a full three meal menu
