Cabana Bay to Disney Parks and Busch Gardens

Hi guys, i am going to stay at Cabana Bay resort in august next year, a long way off i know!

I was wondering, as i will not be hiring a car, what the best/cheapest way to get to Disney's Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios, and Busch Gardens.

I hear that you can use free transport from Cabana Bay to SeaWorld then go on to Busch Gardens from there? not too sure

Not sure about Busch but we got taxi from HRH to disney when we transferred there for second part of our trip and was $50. Quick and simple but maybe not the cheapest option?

Maybe you should re-consider getting a rental car. Using discount codes you can get a rental car for near $200(I based that on a week rental). So if you are making 4 off-site trips at $50, then the car pays for itself and then you have it and the freedom to go where you want, when you want to.

You do need to be aware of parking charges though, 12 per day!

Indeed, and paying at the Disney parks as far as i am aware? Neither me or my girlfriend are driving, thank you for your help.

Mears shuttles pick up and drop off at Universal and will take you to any Disney park for $20 return per person. You just phone the day before and book it, and have their number to hand if the shuttle doesn't show and they'll send a taxi for the same price.

Mears also run a shuttle bus to Busch Gardens that will pick you up from Cabana Bay. It's free with the cost of a Busch ticket - I think you pay the driver then they refund you at the ticket counter, but I could be wrong.

But anyway Mears are the folks to go for if you're trying to get between parks on a budget and don't want to rent a car.

My guess is the Cabana Bay pick up is from the same place the shuttle buses to the Universal parks pick-up from.

I think when you book they ask you what time you would like to be picked up, or give you a choice if there are several slots.

On the way back the bus driver will tell you where to wait to be picked up, and what time, and usually there's a specific numbered spot to wait from.

I found Mears very helpful at booking my rides and answering my questions. Their number is 407-423-5566 and they seem to answer the phones pretty late too, so it's all very easy.
