Cabana Bay Room Choice?

Booking a short trip to CB in August for DD's 10th birthday.
I'm a little overwhelmed by all the room choices!

I think I've figured the choices are:
-standard vs suite
-tower vs "non-tower" (courtyard? near main pool)
and
-parking lot view or pool view

I'm pretty sure we want a pool view. It's only $5-10 more a night.
I'm leaning toward the tower rooms because I like the interior entry (more like a hotel vs motel), but will we feel too far away from the main pool area?
As for the standard vs suite - there are only 4 of us. Kids are 10 and 5. I like the idea of the separate space and 2 TVs and the extra bathroom space, but it would be $30 more a night.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Advice?!

I chose pool view cause it was only $10 more a night so i figured why not

FYI- it is not necessarily a pool VIEW- it it the "pool SIDE" of the building. We were there for one night just to check it out. Got the most expensive suite in the tower buildings (Continental)- pool side. We could NOT see the pool from our room, but yes, we were on the pool SIDE of the building. It kind of pi$$ed me off a little and if we were staying longer I would have requested a change, but now I know. BTW our view was the access road I prefer the interior hallways. Both pools are worth a visit. The one nearest the tower side has the lazy river and underwater music.

That is sort of misleading! If I pay the extra $, I would expect to have a better view than an access road. Would your chances of a "pool view" improve if you were closer to the lobby? How is it you were on the pool side but did not have a view of the pool? It looks like the tower extend out pretty far and then "bend" back...is that why?

yes- we were near the very end on the "bend". If you look at the rooms it does not say "View" it says "side"
