Staying at BWV in May for the first time. Any tips on room selection? or anything else for that matter. Thanks

We have stayed at BWV many times over the past few years. There are some great views along the Boardwalk and overlooking the courtyard. We personally enjoyed our room on the 5th floor overlooking the courtyard because you get a nice panorama view of the Boardwalk and the 5th floor is tall enough to see Spaceship Earth.

Make sure you eat at the Boardwalk Bakery and sit outside on the Lake but get to the bakery early because it gets crowded. We love staying on the Boardwalk because it is so easy to scoot out of Epcot after Illuminations, make sure you watch Illuminations near the Morocco pavilion.

Isn't this a repeat thread? the far away rooms are close to the DHS walkway but far from elevators and lobby so depending if you plan on walking its the ole 6 of 1, 1/2 dozen cliche. Have fun you will like it either way.

That'll make a difference in where your room will be located and room selection.

Last year we had a standard room and the walkway to DHS was right outside our door. This current trip we have Boardwalk view and a quick left and right and were on the walkway to DHS although further up. Both rooms are a long way from lobby and elevators. Either way no biggie for us. Our Board walk view room is sweet, we have space ship earth straight ahead and saw all the high fireworks from our balcony during illuminations.

We don't worry about room assignments and we've been happy with our room every time.

A tip would be if you have just missed a boat, walk to either Epcot or DHS. It isn't far and helps to burn off the vacation calories.
