Going to my first SWW this May. I made reservations already at the BWV, but after doing some reading it seems that it might be a faster to commute to DHS to say at Old Key West or maybe a different DVC resort. Any thoughts?

BWV or Old Key West for SWW?

I find it very hard to believe that one could get to DHS faster from OKW then they could from BWV. BWV is the closest DVC followed by BCV. You can walk to the DHS turnstile faster than you can drive from OKW to the turnstile.

That's what I thought. I've walked back from DHS to BWI and I think it took maybe all of 20 minutes and that was moving at a leisurely pace. Any bus ride is 30 minutes typically. You have wait time for the bus, boarding time, riding time and and the unboard. From BW it is a hike or a boat ride away and the boats are 20 minutes or less.
