Buying Tickets At WDW

Ok - I should really know the answer to this one after so many trips, but I've always purchased packages with tickets and never had to deal with this!

My sister will be joining us one day on our trip. She's going to meet us in the morning at the hotel for breakfast, then we are going to Epcot. Neither of us will have a car, and were planning on just taking the Disney busses everywhere. Where the heck do we purchase a 1 day ticket for her? Do we have to go out to the TTC to get it? Can we get it at the front entrance to the park? Can we get it at the hotel?

The front entrance to every park is a great place to purchase a day ticket. Have fun!

You can purchase your ticket at the Lobby Concierge desk at your Disney hotel, or you can purchase it at the park. There are ticket windows outside every park. Though if you're going to the Magic Kingdom, you'll have to go to Guest Relations as they don't have ticket windows right outside the park (they're at the TTC, as you mentioned)

Can't go wrong buying them at the front gate.

You can also buy them at the Concierge desk.

You can also call the hotel if you want to make sure what days you want to visit the park and see if any special events are going on or special deals.

Have a great trip. :sohappy:

Thanks all

Something I just thought of... You mentioned that your sister is only there for the day. By any chance is she a Florida Resident?

If so, she can get a discount on her ticket. If she's just buying a 1-day ticket, you *have* to purchase it in advance to get a discount. They can be ordered online, and possibly over the phone, too. If she doesn't want to bother with (or pay for) shipping, they can hold the ticket to be picked up at the ticket window ("Will Call") at the park.

Otherwise, any other FL Resident discount ticket can be purchased either in advance or at the front gate of the park.

Note that the hotel front desks are not able to sell FL Resident tickets.

Nope, she's just queen of the one day trip. She will often fly in somewhere early morning and leave late at night, or early the next morning. Drives me absolutely nuts!! But as long as she pays for dinner, I'll tolerate it
