Can anyone recommend a place to buy some local rum in Nassau, preferably close to the ship? We'll be there next week without the kids and would like to purchase some. Thanks!

Buying rum in Nassau?

Most places are about the same price. Most have the same selection. Most are about the same price as stores here in VA. I like the el cheapo "Ole Nassau Rum." that you can find in most. It is one of the few they had that the alphabet stores here don't. My recommendation is to write prices of what stuff is locally to compare. And get some el cheapo ole Nassau which isn't that bad for a general shots/cocktails rum.
Looks like a newer place is the John Watlings rum distillery. I think I'll have to check that out.
