Buying resale then buying Riviera direct

Hello, I recently purchased a 100 point Saratoga Springs resale contract (December U/Y). I have been researching on buying additional points directly through DVC. If I were to buy (say 150 points same use year) Riviera points directly, could I use both resorts to book somewhere in the 7 month window with a combined 250 points? Thank you for your time.

I feel like this is one of those logic questions lol. Yes you can, but you can't use the SSR points at Riviera. That would be the only restriction in this case.
