Is there a time limit for Park Hopper Tickets? I have kids and grand kids that I'd like take to WDW but I don't know when they will be able to go. I'd like to save some money and get the tickets purchased ahead of time. It might be this year of next year that they would be able to go. So how long ahead of time can I buy them and still be able to use them?

Buying park hopper tickets ahead of time?

They have date-based tickets now, so you have to specify the start date when you buy them.
If you do buy them and can’t use them, you can get the value of unused, expired tickets against the price of nw ones. But if you go that route, make sure you buy them direct from Disney. Tickets bought from other sellers must be upgraded in person, which would mean you wouldn’t be able to book FPs in advance.
Also, I wouldn’t necessarily buy park hoppers. The “base” tickets are cheaper, and you can upgrade to park hoppers if you need to. Park hopping doesn’t suit everyone.
