Buying Magic Kingdom tickets online (via Disney's site)

Was curious as you have to put in a date of when you will be going, but then it says the dates are flexible based on the price you paid?

I will be down there next Thursday and plan to go Friday or Saturday, but I wanted the option to choose once I got to Florida. Am I locked in a certain day if I buy for Friday, but change and go Saturday?

I don't think you're buying for a specific day, but the type of day - Value, Regular or Peak. I assume they ask when you plan to go to help you figure out which type to buy.

I bought a one-off ticket like that for MK back in April. The ticket was undated and It's not really used until you enter the park.

The e-ticket I got just had a confirmation number and said it was only good for admission to MK on Value or Regular days.
