any idea if/when they will return? such a pain to go to resort to catch a bus, back to resort to return to the parks, you would think disney would make it easy to go there and of course, spend money.

They existed. I've taken them from parks to DS. It's the ones from DS to parks that did not (for the reason you stated). They never existed. That would allow people to park at Disney Springs and avoid the parking fee at the parks.

They sort of did. As you mentioned they only ran from the parks to the Springs and not the other way around. They also did not run until later in the day...usually, around 3 or 4 if memory serves me correctly. They existed. I've taken them from parks to DS. One ride is down and it's less than a half day park??? You must only want rides and don't care about anything else. Sad, really as there is so much more to offer there in the trails and such.we are going to ak next month. since everest will still be down it is now less than a half day park, would like to go to ds to shop and eat, but the hassle is to much.
You could take the bus from AK to Port Orleans then take the boat to Disney Springswe are going to ak next month. since everest will still be down it is now less than a half day park, would like to go to ds to shop and eat, but the hassle is to much.
We would usually go to SSR, since it has the shortest boat ride. Of course, we were probably staying there at the time so didn't have to worry about catching a bus back to a different resort. You could take the bus from AK to Port Orleans then take the boat to Disney Springs![]()
If I am not mistaken, the walk from the Congress Park stop is shorter than the boat ride.We would usually go to SSR, since it has the shortest boat ride. Of course, we were probably staying there at the time so didn't have to worry about catching a bus back to a different resort.
and how long is the wait for that bus, and how long is the wait for the boat? You could take the bus from AK to Port Orleans then take the boat to Disney Springs![]()
I believe it is, but the boat ride is a lot more relaxing! If I am not mistaken, the walk from the Congress Park stop is shorter than the boat ride.
If you are really in that much of a hurry to get from AK to DS, you will have to take an Uber or Lyft. Disney transportation can easily take you an hour or more.and how long is the wait for that bus, and how long is the wait for the boat?
