In a speech just hours ago to the airline industry in Chicago, President Bush addressed Americans watching on television and encouraged people to fly again. In doing so, he said the following:
"One of the great goals of this nation's war is to restore public confidence in the airline industry, is to tell the traveling public, 'Get on board, do your business around the country. Fly and enjoy America's great destination spots. Go down to DisneyWorld in Florida. Take your families and enjoy life the way we want it to be enjoyed,'" he said.

Here, here! That's a great soundbite, and it is being repeated across the nation on TV and radio news. Hope it does some good, not just for Disney World but for America and for fighting the terrorists. They cannot win over our spirit.
[Ironically, my family and I have just postponed a Disney visit this weekend, not because we are afraid but because they postponed the press events that we wanted to see to kick off 100 Years of Magic. We hope to go later, perhaps when the press events are rescheduled for December -- I had hoped to take my mother and to meet some of the Disney notables. She preferred to wait and try again maybe later, since the events were put off. But we will go soon! It is too ironic, though, that the president would say that now! ]
