I think it was running between the Settlement Depot and WL (which is the normal route) but since I never boarded one I cannot be certain.

You are indeed correct. They are at the Settlement and they are the Yellow line. Before you board, ask if they are going to the Lodge because they might be just coming back and you’ll have to do the whole loop first before they go back. Better to wait for the one on its way back. They run pretty frequently.
