I don't think anyone has made comments on this at all. This was announced this week in our local news. BUT....Busch Gardens just revealed plans to open a new "land" in their theme park called Jungala which will feature 2 new rides, a themed exploration village and exotic animals of the rarest breeds. What really got me was that the completion date is SPRING 2008.
This had to have been in the planning for awhile, and even under construction for a couple weeks already. I'm guessing it's to "compete" with Disney's Refurbishment projects and new attractions being developed around the resort and Universal's new Potter World.
It might not have too much to do with WDW, but it's still good news. I enjoy Busch for day visits and sometimes for my lunch break. I also enjoy it more than the Universal parks. And even the 45-60 minute drive from WDW doesn't hamper the fact that it's a nice day trip for those on a Disney Vacation. Anyway. I posted the webcast here.
If you think this thread is irrelevant, sorry. It's hard to tell sometimes what you guys do and don't want to hear about. :veryconfu
