bus transportation between resorts during PHM

Hi
We are planning a trip in February, on the Princess Half Marathon weekend. I'm running the 10k on Saturday!

My question is about Sunday, the day of the Half Marathon.

We are staying at the Swan, but I made breakfast reservations at 'Ohana for 7:30 am. Does anyone know if I'm going to be able to take a bus to central station and hop the monorail? I don't know if the roads are completely closed to WDW buses during the half marathon. Thanks!

Buses usually begin about 6:30. You'll want the MK bus (buses from resorts no longer take you to the TTC). Transfer to the monorail or boat to get to the Poly.

If you're really lucky, you and your party could be the only ones on the first bus. If so, the bus driver may be able to drive you directly to the Poly. That happened to me when I had a breakfast ADR at Kona Cafe and hopped on the first bus from POFQ.

Thank you, I hope they keep that schedule on race day. I know the buses for the runners/spectators run until 5 am and then pick up again at 7:30. Of course, the only reservation time I could get was 7:30, so I need to get on a bus about 6:45 or so, by my estimate.
